Although the river is running pretty low for this time of year, the fish are still on the prowl for food. The heads and tails of long pools and glides are being more productive of late, especially during BWO hatches which are proving to be constant.
Sport is good from 6pm onwards at night time especially in the lower reaches we have. Use a longer leader for a better presentation and to minimise drag.
Look under trees and bushes when the "bright one" is out.
