After a couple of hard days work, a days fishing was in need!
With a few hours to spare I got in the car and drove down to Musgrave Bridge. I arrived at the bridge expecting to see a decent amount of fly life but there was very little. So, I got out the nymph box and tied on a team of Czechs. Wondering upstream was worth its while as a 3lb 2oz brownie was soon on the line (see picture).
Although the river was running very low, fish can still be caught even in the trickiest conditions.
