A wonderful day

Fished the river at Musgrave Bridge on Thursday the 2nd of April on an Exchange ticket (WADAA).

Brilliant weather but a bit windy once down on the river. Not many fish rising but we did see lots of fish from the banks in large groups. However we did find them very difficult to fish they were very spooky. Once we got into the river the fish had long gone.

I did not catch any fish but what a wonderful day with the weather the scenery and all the wild life. Managed to observe  a stoat hunting on the other side of the river. Plenty of dippers flying up and down the river and a few buzzards’ flying around the high ground but no Kingfishers.
