Two in Three

On the evening of Friday 12th I decided to give it a go, so went down to Musgrave bridge. There had just been a thunder storm so I was a bit wary of going (you know what I mean lightning, carbon, bit of a dodgy mix ) but went anyway and was pleasently surprised when I was greeted by a river of rising fish. After a while of throwing every fly in my box at them I was seriously thinking that a bottle of red back at home was a better option, but decided to have another half hour.

As I have told you nothing had worked, so I thought "sod it, lets try something bigger and bushy", so on went a grey duster size 14 and it looked like nothing on the water to me, but more importantly it looked like something edible to the trout because I had two 12" brownies (both returned) in three casts and would of had more if it wasn't for a gale froce wind that came out of nowhere.
