Went to little musgrave on 04.06.05 and wandered down stream towards Ploughlands. Met Mr Garner and he joined me in my downstream pursuit of rising fish. After quite a walk and very little sign of life on the river we headed back upstream, only to find the spot we crossed at was now running chocolate brown and uncrossable ! So we headed back to the cars through a farm yard (Ploughlands) and parted company there.

When I got home I decided to have a quick go near to home and caught 8 fish! (4 around the pound mark, 4 small ones). All fish were caught on a Grey Duster (size 18) near Hartley Sawmill.

There is probably a moral to this story, but I haven't got a clue what it is!
