Green Mayfly

I spent a very pleasant hour and a half fishing the Eden just above the bridge at Great Musgrave. Although conditions were good I hooked and lost just one small fish. What was memorable about the session was the appearance of green mayfly. They floated merrily by for much of the time I was on the water, a good indication of the varied fly life that we enjoy on the river.
